The method
triangulate, don't trust
- No authority is ground truth
- Federal Court, parish registers, family memory: each is an interpretive witness, recorded as a source-attestation, never as settled fact.
- Identity is a hypothesis
- Is this Kitty the same as that one? donto holds the sameAs as a hypothesis you can support or refute; it never silently merges two people.
- Contradictions are kept
- When two sources disagree, both survive. The substrate is paraconsistent: a contradiction is evidence, not an error to delete.
